Q: Do my customers need to install an application on their phone?

A: No, we do not require your customers to install any phone application. Offers are viewed via a mobile or desktop browser.

Q: Do I need to know HTML or CSS or other programming language to create offers?

A: No, you do not need to know any programming language to create mobile offers. You can create and share your offers with an easy-to-use interface and be up and running in minutes.

Q: Do you charge a setup fee or other costs besides the monthly subscription?

A: We do not charge any setup fees. The only costs are the monthly subscription fees based on the number of offers you create and page views you expect to receive. See our Pricing Page for more information.

Q: Do you require a long-term commitment?

A: No, all of our plans are month to month. You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel plans at anytime.

Q: Does your service work outside the US?

A: Offers created in MixMobi can be used by anyone in the world with access to the mobile web. MixMobi is hosted in the US and all of the administration functions are in English. The offers themselves can be created in any language.

That said, we want to make our entire experience accessible for customers non-US/non-English speakers. There are a number of internationalization features we are considering including hosting services in other regions and translating our administration functions. If we have enough interest from a particular region, we will certainly proceed with this. Please let us know if this is something of interest to you.

Q: What browsers do you support?

A: Offers can be viewed in virtually any browser, desktop or mobile. We've worked very hard to ensure that offers you create within MixMobi are viewable across a huge spectrum of devices.

For customers creating offers in our management console, we support most of the popular modern browsers including Firefox 3 and newer, Safari 3 and newer, Google Chrome 4 and newer, Opera 10 and newer, and Internet Explorer 7 and newer. We do not support Internet Explorer 6. If you are running an older browser, upgrade! It's easy and free with tons of choices!

Q: Can I use my own URL for offers?

A: For our standard MixMobi service, offers are served using our own shortened 'http://mxmo.be' url. If you desire to show your own URL you can redirect from your existing web addresses to MixMobi. We also offer White Label and installed versions of MixMobi which can have native URL support. Contact us if you are interested in purchasing one of these services.
